FleetMind is founded through the combination of leading-edge computer systems expertise for harsh, real-world environments and breakthrough university research in telematics for heavy trucks.
2002
FleetMind reengineers its core fleet management and wireless-enabled onboard computer product offering to better target North American customers in the LTL trucking and waste management verticals.
2005
FleetMind management complete a buyout of the company.
2007
Martin Demers joins FleetMind as co-owner and becomes the company’s CEO.
2008
FleetMind moves to expanded offices in downtown Montreal to better accommodate rapid growth.
2009
FleetMind ramps up waste industry market penetration with thousands of installed systems across North America by delivering the only fully integrated waste-specific fleet management solution supporting all major back-office systems.
2010
FleetMind leverages RFID technologies to ensure real-time and fully automated service verification.
2011
FleetMind named to the World’s Hottest Companies for Network Products Guide’s 2011 Awards in the Green IT category.
2012
FleetMind partners with General Dynamics to provide waste and recycling companies with an integrated fleet management system combining the new General Dynamics’ GD4010 ruggedized smart display with FleetMind’s software for the most robust onboard computing platform in the market.
2013
Fleetmind wins coveted IDG InfoWorld Green 15 Award for the deployment of its fleet management system at Casella Waste Systems proven to improve efficiencies and reduce CO2 emissions. FleetMind launches new all-in-one onboard computing platform, FleetLink Lite, that delivers essential fleet management functionality in an affordable package.
2014
FleetMind unveils new FleetLink Route System – a web-based route management solution that delivers an unprecedented new level of support and control to dispatch operations for industrial, residential and commercial waste collection services.
2015
FleetMind partners with McNeilus for StreetSmart Vision 10 – the industry’s first smart truck solution for refuse collection trucks.
