Hydraulic systems make it easier for waste trucks to load and transport solid waste materials. Hydraulically raised lift arms with installed sensors/switches automatically track all actuator arm activities (up or down).

In conjunction with Onboard Computers (OBC) and GPS-based AVL capabilities, the actuator system provides a complete automated real-time service verification and route management including in-progress route reporting and precise vehicle location (GPS coordinates) and timestamp with every activity/lift.

In coordination with the GPS, ECM data helps safety managers better understand real-world driver behaviors for pro-active coaching and overall safety improvements. ECM data also provides maintenance managers with valuable insights into vehicle health and fuel consumption.
