The Production Technician will assist with production process to assemble, setup, and configure system per customer order requirement. The Specialist will record and maintain production related data as well as perform WIP testing as required. 


  • Read and comprehend instructions to follow established procedures
  • Do kitting, assembling, soldering, and packaging per sales/work order requirement
  • Affix labels, logos, and other exterior details to products
  • Update product data in ERP system
  • Setup and configure system for WIP testing
  • Maintain production configuration record
  • Troubleshoot defective component and provide feedback
  • Perform testing for new hardware/software/firmware as required
  • Perform system upgrades or rework as required
  • Set up & maintain production testing equipment
  • Follow 5S according to environmental policies

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing environment is desirable
  • Familiarity with Windows (Windows XP, Win7, Win8) & familiarity with Linux Operating System is desirable
  • Familiar with MS Office applications, e.g. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
  • Experience in computer assembly and setup is preferred
  • Experience in Symantec Ghost Solution and basic soldering is desirable
  • Experience in cable assembly is preferred
