Location: Eagan, Minnesota
The Parts Handler will be responsible for ensuring that parts and equipment are ready to enter the paint booth for painting. Loading the conveyor line, removing painted parts, and cleaning are some of the additional tasks required. These duties require strong attention to detail and adequately preparing parts of the final stages of the manufacturing process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare parts for the powder coating process of aluminum and steel products.
- Observes parts to detect defects or deviations from standards.
- Loads and unloads parts, secures parts, and moves parts down the line.
- Report manufacturing problems to Team Lead or supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Ability to cross train to other departments as needed.
Education, Experience and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/Equivalent
- 6 months of hands-on experience in a manufacturing facility, powder coating preferred.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends, as needed.
- Reliable and dependable attendance.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in written form with supervisors and co-workers
- Mechanical aptitude preferred.
- Safety First attitude.
- Physical requirements include frequent reaching, gripping and carrying up to 50 lbs., plus frequent standing, stooping, bending, squatting, and walking.
Schedule/Compensation:
- First Shift – Monday-Friday 6:00AM-2:00PM
