Location: Eagan, Minnesota

As a Welder you are responsible for welding together the aluminum extrusions for ladder racking units and delivery vehicle shelving units. Additionally, you will have in-depth knowledge of welding machinery including robotic welders, and various weldments. May perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Ability to read, understand, and interpret blueprints and standard work instructions (SWI’s).
Ability to read and use a tape measure and caliper readings.
Use a variety of other powered hand tools, stapler, rivets gun(s), drills, etc.
Inspect and test, parts and products, as necessary, during or after welding for quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, maintain all equipment according to maintenance plans.
Ability to cross train to other departments as needed.

Education, Experience and Qualifications:

High School Diploma/Equivalent
6 months of hands-on experience in a manufacturing facility as a welder.
Ability to work overtime and weekends, as needed.
Ability to pass pre-employment weld test
Reliable and dependable attendance.
Ability to communicate verbally and in written form with supervisors and co-workers
Mechanical aptitude preferred.
Safety First attitude.
Physical requirements include frequent reaching, gripping and carrying up to 50 lbs., plus frequent standing, stooping, bending, squatting, and walking.
