In his current position, Mr. Elzey is the Sr. Director of Strategy, Integration, & Safety-As-A-Service at Safe Fleet Holdings where is he tasked with creating strategic plans for the many business units within Safe Fleet and integrating newly acquired companies. In addition to those responsibilities, he has been tasked with creating a Nationwide Service & Installation network for the Safe Fleet portfolio of products. Prior to his current role, he was the Director of Marketing for the Roll-Rite brand and General Manager of the Pulltarps brand prior to that role.
Mr. Elzey joined Pulltarps Mfg. as the Sr. Operations Manager in 2014, then was promoted to General Manager in March of 2017. Mr. Elzey’s responsibilities as General Manager included the direct management of all organizational operations, motivating the workforce while maintaining a profitable business unit, and driving the future growth of the business through new products and new customers. During Mr. Elzey’s tenure at Pulltarps, he accomplished building out a structure underneath of him for support, assisted in growing sales revenue by 20%, oversaw the design and launch of the new Pulltarps eCommerce website, implemented Lean Mfg. principles, and played a pivotal role in helping navigate the founder and original team members through the acquisition process.
Prior to joining Pulltarps, Mr. Elzey spent ten (10) years as the Operations Manager for Kroeger’s Recycling, a scrap metal recycling facility with multiple locations in the Delaware/Maryland/Virginia area. His responsibilities included managing three locations, approximately 50 direct employees, and a fleet of roll-off trucks and semi-trucks with end dump trailers on top of the other heavy equipment necessary to run the operation. Mr. Elzey also spent four (4) years in various Retail Management positions with increasing managerial responsibility while completing his Associate’s Degree in Business Management, and Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance at Wilmington University.
