Meet the Team

Bryan Elzey

Sr. Director, Commercial Vehicle – Strategy, Integration, & Safety-As-A-Service

In his current position, Mr. Elzey is the Sr. Director of Strategy, Integration, & Safety-As-A-Service at Safe Fleet Holdings where is he tasked with creating strategic plans for the many business units within Safe Fleet and integrating newly acquired companies. In addition to those responsibilities, he has been tasked with creating a Nationwide Service & Installation network for the Safe Fleet portfolio of products. Prior to his current role, he was the Director of Marketing for the Roll-Rite brand and General Manager of the Pulltarps brand prior to that role.

Mr. Elzey joined Pulltarps Mfg. as the Sr. Operations Manager in 2014, then was promoted to General Manager in March of 2017. Mr. Elzey’s responsibilities as General Manager included the direct management of all organizational operations, motivating the workforce while maintaining a profitable business unit, and driving the future growth of the business through new products and new customers. During Mr. Elzey’s tenure at Pulltarps, he accomplished building out a structure underneath of him for support, assisted in growing sales revenue by 20%, oversaw the design and launch of the new Pulltarps eCommerce website, implemented Lean Mfg. principles, and played a pivotal role in helping navigate the founder and original team members through the acquisition process.

Prior to joining Pulltarps, Mr. Elzey spent ten (10) years as the Operations Manager for Kroeger’s Recycling, a scrap metal recycling facility with multiple locations in the Delaware/Maryland/Virginia area. His responsibilities included managing three locations, approximately 50 direct employees, and a fleet of roll-off trucks and semi-trucks with end dump trailers on top of the other heavy equipment necessary to run the operation. Mr. Elzey also spent four (4) years in various Retail Management positions with increasing managerial responsibility while completing his Associate’s Degree in Business Management, and Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance at Wilmington University.

BRAD BOHNEN

Manager, Major Projects
Brad is the Manager of American Mobile Fleet Services Major Projects group, responsible for strategic projects within the AMFS business unit. Brad joined Safe Fleet with a wealth of fleet management and project management experience and most recently, he was the Head of Fleet Management – North America for Ericsson, managing all fleet assets in North America. Prior to Ericsson, Brad held several roles at Sprint including National Fleet Manager and Group Manager, Business Operations – Technology Services where he managed large technology deployment projects. Brad is an Automotive Service Technology graduate of Dunwoody, College of Technology, holds a master certificate in Project Management from George Washington University and is a recipient of the 2022 Safe Fleet Outstanding Growth Award.

SCOTT HACKER

Manager, Quality & Technology
Scott is the Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager for American Mobile Fleet Services. Scott brings a tremendous amount of experience to Safe Fleet having most recently held the positions of Quality and Continuous Improvement Specialist, Logistics Supervisor, and Interim Plant Supervisor at Utilimaster. Prior to joining Utilimaster, Scott worked for TrippNT in quality control and logistics positions. Scott is a veteran of the United States Navy and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Western Governor’s University. Scott also has a Master of Business Administration and a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt from Purdue University, and a certification in Project Management from the University of Missouri, Science & Technology.

MIKE BRINK

Manager, National Installations
Mike is the National Installation Manager for American Mobile Fleet Services National Installation group. Mike brings a tremendous amount of experience to AMFS having held positions of Truck Account Manager at ARI/Holman, Regional Fleet Maintenance Manager at Schwan’s, Fleet Manager at Fastenal’s NE Distribution Center, and Lead Technician at Penske Truck Leasing. Mike is a veteran of the United States Army Reserves and holds an associate degree in Applied Science from Penn College of Technology.

VENUS VAN HORN

Manager, GPS & Upfit
Venus is the Manager for American Mobile Fleet Services GPS group. Venus held a Customer Relations Manager role at OYO Fitness and has previously held positions with Sprint as Program Manager, Software Engineer, and Logistics Forecasting and Scheduling Analyst. She also served as Call Center Workforce Manager at AT&T and Aerial Communications. Venus holds an associate degree from Metropolitan Community College and Program Management certificate from Sprint.

Elizabeth Smith

Quoting Supervisor
Elizabeth is the Quoting Supervisor and Major Projects Team Lead for American Mobile Fleet Services. Elizabeth joined AMFS in 2008 as an Account Representative, and during her tenure, she has held significant leadership roles as Upfit Team Lead and Trainer, Customer Relations Manager and Director of GPS Telematics. In addition to her leadership roles, Elizabeth serves as Subject Matter Expert with deployment and customization of our ERP system.
